2. How will Henderson look this time?

Back in April, the Rams pulled off a bit of a surprise in the NFL Draft by using a third-round pick on former Memphis star Darrell Henderson, which was surprising due to their current situation at running back.

While Los Angeles continues to monitor Todd Gurley to make sure they don’t overwork the star running back too much, the team was arguably in decent shape before Henderson since players such as Malcolm Brown or John Kelly seemed willing to step up.

But when looking at the different style of play that Henderson will hopefully bring to the table as a rookie in 2019 and beyond, the Rams have plenty of reasons to be thrilled over their rookie running back.

With that being said, Henderson’s preseason debut with Los Angeles didn’t exactly get off to the best start in the loss to Oakland after only rushing for 13 yards on six carries, a whopping average of 2.2 yards per carry.

For obvious reasons, it would be foolish to hit the panic button over Henderson right now since this was only the first preseason game, but hopefully the rookie puts together a solid outing when facing the Cowboys.

If that happens, it will put Henderson in much better position to move up the depth chart over these next couple of weeks leading up to September.
