For the second preseason game in a row, the Los Angeles Rams came up on the losing end to the Dallas Cowboys.

Only two games remain in the preseason for the Los Angeles Rams before the real action is set to get underway in September after the team came up on the losing end again on Saturday night, this time to the Dallas Cowboys.

From a realistic perspective, it’s difficult to expect much from a team like the Rams when most of their starters are resting to avoid unnecessary injuries, but it was still tough to watch them come up short 14-10 to the Cowboys.

On a positive note, at least unlike the week before, Los Angeles managed to find the end zone after Blake Bortles managed to find JoJo Natson in the first quarter for a seven-yard touchdown.

Still, with the Rams only combining for 13 points during their first two games of preseason, one can only hope things will be a little more exciting over the final two weeks.

Of course, as long as Los Angeles is ready to go for Week 1 when the starters return to face the Carolina Panthers, this is all that really matter the most since the pressure will be higher than ever to continue being a serious threat in the NFC.

For now, at least Saturday’s loss to the Cowboys gave Rams fans plenty of topics worth discussing, whether it happens to be the way certain players performed or how inconsistent the offense looked once again.

So without wasting anymore time, here are three key takeaways to consider for Los Angeles before their next contest Saturday against the Denver Broncos.
