With trade rumors surrounding Jadeveon Clowney possibly joining the Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Rams better keep an eye out.

For months, there’s been plenty of uncertainty surrounding Jadeveon Clowney, and whether the defensive star’s time with the Houston Texans would come to an end before the start of the 2019 season, which the Los Angeles Rams have been keeping an eye on.

Even though the chances of the Rams bringing the former top overall pick on board were extremely slim since the cost alone would be too much, there has been talk over whether Clowney could still end up in the division on a team like the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite coming up short of winning the NFC West for a second year in a row, the Seahawks were still able to earn one of the Wild Card spots in the conference, and even almost advanced to the Divisional Round.

With all due respect to the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers, Seattle will most likely be the biggest threat to Los Angeles during the 2019 season if the last couple of seasons are any indication.

Plus, if the Seahawks somehow end up get in on the Clowney action by acquiring the star defender in a trade, it could make things even more complication for the Rams when facing their division rivals.

A defense like Seattle could always use another effective pass rusher like Clowney, and while trade rumors continue to swirl at the moment, the Seahawks are reportedly one of the potential landing spots for the Texans defender.

Believe it or not, the Texans and Philadelphia Eagles are apparently two of Clowney’s preferred landing spots for the 2019 season, which makes sense since both squads happen to have playoff-caliber teams.

Time will tell when it comes to seeing how this situation will play out for Clowney, but if he does end up on the Seahawks, it would certainly make things a little more interesting in the NFC West since the Rams would have to face him twice in 2019.

Los Angeles would obviously still be considered the favorites if this deal were to somehow take place, but also when seeing how tough of an opponent Seattle always is, the division title would be far from a guarantee for the Rams.
