1. Justin Davis

If the Rams didn’t use one of their draft picks in April on Darrell Henderson, Justin Davis most likely would be earning a roster spot before Saturday’s deadline.

But since Los Angeles is already packed at the running back position, the best option for both parties seems to be moving on from Davis since it will only be taking up another unnecessary spot.

Despite all of the uncertainty at the moment surrounding Todd Gurley with his knee, the Rams feel confident enough in Henderson and Malcolm Brown stepping up if needed in the backfield.

Not to mention, it will be interesting to see if John Kelly finds a way to see more action now that he has a year of experience under his belt.

There was a time not too long ago when it seemed like Davis could potentially turn into a steal on offense for the Rams, but this is no longer the case.

On a positive note, assuming that Los Angeles does move on from Davis, this shouldn’t take too much of a toll on the offense since he was already receiving limited action to begin with, and the Rams are better off with the current group of running backs.
