Could the Los Angeles Rams see Antonio Brown join the NFC West following his release from the Oakland Raiders?

Saturday was another reminder of just how lucky the Los Angeles Rams are when it comes to not having to deal with drama after seeing what a mess the Antonio Brown situation has been.

Just when it seemed like all of the drama from the last couple of days couldn’t hit a new level, Brown’s request for a release was granted by the Oakland Raiders Saturday morning, meaning the speedy wideout is eligible to sign with any team he wants.

As for which teams will express interest in Brown, well that’s certainly going to be interesting over the next week or so since plenty of teams would take the talent in a heartbeat, but also don’t want to deal with the drama.

The fact that Brown was released by the Raiders just months after coming on board through a trade shows how much of a headache the wideout has been. And while Brown’s next team will rightfully be taking a cautious approach, it doesn’t seem like it will be long before he does find that new home.

Meanwhile, the good news for the Rams is when looking at their current situation at wide receiver, there’s absolutely no chance the team would even consider the possibility of signing Brown.

But when it comes to the rest of the division, it’s safe to say that each of the other three teams would benefit in a big way if Brown were to become part of the picture.

In case Brown joining the NFC West somehow becomes a possibility, it’s time to have a little fun by ranking the teams the Rams should fear the most when it comes to signing the speedster.
