2. 49ers

Around this time last year, there was plenty of hype surrounding the San Francisco 49ers potentially becoming a surprise Super Bowl contender in the NFC after signing Jimmy Garoppolo to a hefty long-term deal.

After finishing the 2017 season on a hot note by going 5-0 as a starter, Garoppolo seemed to be the quarterback that San Francisco had been patiently waiting for.

That may still very well be the case, but unfortunately the 49ers watched Garoppolo suffer a torn ACL early on during the 2018 season, which was a crushing blow to the offense for obvious reasons.

With a full offseason to recover, San Francisco would love nothing more than to see Garoppolo return to the level from the end of 2017, but also realize the quarterback could certainly benefit from another dangerous threat such as Brown.

One can only imagine the kind of impact Brown would make joining an offense like the 49ers, and similar to the situation in Arizona with Murray, Garoppolo could certainly benefit from potentially having a long-term weapon to work with.

Also, keep in mind that a few months ago when all of the drama was playing out with Brown and the Steelers, the 49ers were rumored to be a potential landing spot back then.
