1. Jared Goff

Looking back at the NFC Championship, Goff didn’t exactly display the best performance on offense for the Rams after only tossing one touchdown pass against the Saints.

But when seeing what the former No. 1 pick was able to accomplish in New Orleans during the regular season when his favorite targets, especially Kupp, were healthy, fantasy football owners should consider Goff a must start on Sunday.

Last November, Goff completed 28 of 40 passes against the Saints for 391 yards, and three touchdowns, although it would have been better to see the Rams actually finish on the winning end.

If Goff was able to help Los Angeles almost rally in this one, and put up these kind of numbers, there’s every reason to believe he’s capable of putting up similar numbers, if not better, in Week 2 while playing at home in front of his own fans.

As excited as Goff was to receive a hefty extension from Los Angeles a few weeks ago to secure his spot as the starter for years to come, the former California star also realizes the additional pressure to prove he’s worth every penny of that new contract.

Without questions, a stellar performance against the Saints would help silence some of Goff’s critics, and would most importantly help the Rams continue to make a major statement about being one of the top teams to beat in the NFC.
