9. Greg Zuerlein

Kickers may not always be the most attractive option for fantasy football, but when certain offenses are clicking, they can certainly make a huge difference maker.

Prior to the arrival of McVay, Greg Zuerlein was arguably considered average at best, but also it was difficult to fully evaluate his kicking skills since the Rams in general on offense didn’t exactly put him in the best position each week.

Watching Zuerlein convert 65 of 71 field goals over the last two seasons in 25 games, 10 of which were converted from 50+ yards, shows how much he’s benefitted from the high-powered offenses of the Rams under McVay.

During last Sunday’s win over Carolina, Zuerlein connected on three of four attempts, and managed to convert all three extra points for Los Angeles.

In order to defeat another team like the Saints with a high-powered offense of their own, the Rams will need to take advantage of getting into the end zone as much as possible, especially if this game turns into a shootout.

But at least if Los Angeles is forced to settle for field goals on a few drives instead of touchdowns, they have plenty of reasons to feel confident in Zuerlein coming through.
