8. Gerald Everett

When looking at all of the talent Los Angeles has to work with at wide receiver, it can be difficult for tight ends like Gerald Everett to be consistent in the passing game, although he certainly makes up for it in other areas.

Back in 2017, the Rams decided to use a second-round pick on the South Alabama product to provide Goff with another weapon to work with on offense, and Everett has certainly been a great fit.

Despite only catching one pass when facing the Panthers for seven yards, chances are Everett could see more passes thrown in his direction on Sunday if the Saints focus extra attention on some of the other receivers.

After catching 33 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns last season, Everett should be able to top those numbers in 2019 as long as the tight end manages to stay healthy.

As mentioned before, players like Everett tend to benefit from seeing more passes thrown in their direction when opposing defenses focus extra attention on the whereabouts of other key players, so why wouldn’t Goff take advantage of a situation like this if given the opportunity?

For all fantasy football owners know, Everett could turn out to be a Week 2 steal.
