7. Tyler Higbee

Keeping the trend going with tight ends, Tyler Higbee certainly made his presence felt opening weekend by hauling in four catches for 20 yards against the Panthers, one of which happened to go for a touchdown.

With the Rams recently extending Higbee to make the tight end part of their long-term plans, the former Western Kentucky star wasted little time making his presence felt in Week 1, and hopefully that trend continues with the Saints coming to town.

Despite some off the field issues leading up to the draft in 2016, Los Angeles felt confident enough that Higbee could turn out to be a steal if he stayed out of trouble.

Watching Higbee recently receive the extension shows the kind of confidence Los Angeles has in their beloved tight end, and it will be interesting to see if the Rams end up finding a way to make him more involved throughout the 2019 season.

As already mentioned, Goff has plenty of amazing weapons to work with on offense in the passing game, but Higbee could also benefit from opposing defenses focusing their attention on some of his teammates, similar to Everett.

Higbee did happen to find the end zone when these two teams met last January during the NFC Championship, and if Goff happened to find him again on Sunday, Los Angeles certainly wouldn’t be about it.
