14. Philadelphia Eagles

From Alshon Jeffery to DeSean Jackson, it was insane to look at all of the injuries the Philadelphia Eagles were dealing with on Sunday night when taking on the Atlanta Falcons.

Of course, there’s no excuse for the Eagles to end up on the losing end since the team found themselves in numerous positions to earn the win, whether it was missed opportunities on offense or the defense blowing coverage.

Take a look at the go-ahead touchdown by Julio Jones towards the end of the game for Atlanta where all Philadelphia needed to do was make one final stop on fourth down, yet they left the wideout wide open before going 54 yards for the score.

One loss certainly doesn’t ruin an entire season, but when seeing how well the Dallas Cowboys are playing on top of the division right now, this would have been a huge win for the Eagles to keep things close in the division race.

Even more frustrating, it will be interesting to see what these next couple of days are like for the players that were dealing with injuries since Philadelphia just couldn’t seem to catch a break, one of which happened to be Carson Wentz.

The Eagles quarterback may have finished the game, but there was a point in which Josh McCown had to fill in for a few plays, showing just how brutal this game was for Philadelphia in regards to keeping players healthy.
