11. Atlanta Falcons

Even though it was only one game, Matt Ryan and Julio Jones may have saved the season for the Atlanta Falcons following their thrilling win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night.

The game got close towards the end of regulation when the Eagles were driving, and seemed like they were going to walk away with the win, but the Falcons deserve credit for holding on to earn their first win of 2019.

After suffering an embarrassing loss during opening weekend to the Minnesota Vikings, Dan Quinn and the Falcons were feeling heavy pressure to earn the win over the Eagles since the team couldn’t afford to drop to 0-2 on the season.

Words can’t even describe how great of a play call Atlanta pulled off on that epic fourth down play in which Jones took the pass, and broke loose 54 yards for what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown for the Falcons.

Best part is, thanks to the win over Philadelphia, and some help from the Los Angeles Rams defeating the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta is currently tied for first place (Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well).

This may not seem like that big of a deal, but after the outcome of last season for the Falcons, defeating the Eagles should be viewed as a huge deal.
