7. Seattle Seahawks

Sunday was the perfect example of why the Seattle Seahawks are the last team anyone should sleep on in the NFC since they not only could finish on top of the NFC West, but make a legitimate run at the Super Bowl.

This may sound ridiculous to even discuss after only two games, but this is how impressive the Seahawks looked during Sunday’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Even if Seattle benefitted from injuries to key players such as Ben Roethlisberger and James Conner, Pittsburgh still found a way to keep this game interesting when seeing how the Seahawks only won by two points.

Year after year, Russell Wilson continues to show why he’s considered to be one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, and watching him torch Pittsburgh’s defense for three touchdown passes should have the Seahawks feeling extremely confident moving forward.

Also, Seattle’s offense continues to do an incredible job at opening up the run game when seeing how much of a difference maker this can be after watching Rashaad Penny and Chris Carson combine for 123 rushing yards.

With more performances like this, it’s only going to continue benefitting Wilson since it helps take a ton of pressure off the Seahawks quarterback under center.
