6. Green Bay Packers

If the Green Bay Packers were looking to make a statement over the first two weeks in regards to being a completely different team from the previous two years, they’re certainly doing so in a big way.

Watching the Packers step up in a big way opening week on the road to take down the Chicago Bears made it seem like this team had the potential to flourish under Matt LaFleur during his first year as head coach.

But after watching Green Bay take down the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 to give LaFleur his first home win while helping the Packers start 2-0 in the process, well the hype surrounding this team seems to be the real deal.

For a team that always seemed to be at least a lock for a Wild Card spot in the NFC playoff picture, it was surprising to see the Packers spend the previous two years watching the postseason from home.

Normally, Rodgers is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, and always makes the Packers a legitimate contender, but if Green Bay’s defense continues to play at a high level, this will be a difficult team to defeat over the next few months.

Starting off 2-0 is impressive for the Packers, but it’s even more exciting when taking into consideration that both wins came within the division.
