5. Dallas Cowboys

Just when it seemed like the Dallas Cowboys were going to receive a scare from the Washington Redskins to suffer their first loss of 2019 following a shaky first quarter, Jason Garrett’s team turned things around for the final three quarters.

Despite an impressive outing in Week 1 against the New York Giants, there were still some doubters that wanted to see how the Cowboys would look against a stronger team.

Washington may be heading into Week 3 sitting at 0-2, but this team has played at a high level at times over the last two weeks, meaning this deserves to be considered a tough test for Dallas.

For obvious reasons, the duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will determine whether the Cowboys end up winning the NFC East for a third time in four seasons.

As expected, both Prescott (269 passing yards with three touchdowns and an interception) and Elliott (111 rushing yards with a touchdown) came through on offense when needed the most.

What’s even more exciting about this impressive 2-0 start by the Cowboys is the team has been able to show the previous drama surrounding Elliott’s contract along with whether Prescott will receive a new deal hasn’t appeared to be a distraction at all.
