3. Los Angeles Rams

Sean McVay knew there would be a ton of pressure for the Rams heading into this Week 2 meeting with the New Orleans Saints not just because of what took place last January, but also some of the questions still surrounding the defending NFC champions.

Take a look at Todd Gurley for example, who silenced some of his critics during the Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers by rushing for 97 yards on 16 carries, and came up big in the fourth quarter when Los Angeles needed him the most.

Against the Saints, it was a similar situation for Gurley after the Rams running back didn’t exactly get off to the best of starts, but from an overall perspective, came up big once again for Los Angeles on offense.

By rushing for 63 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, Gurley once again silenced some of the critics by showing there are no reasons for concern when it comes to his knee.

On another injury related note, the Rams must have been thrilled to watch Cooper Kupp continue to torch the Saints like he normally does after hauling in five catches for 120 yards during Sunday’s win.

At 2-0, Los Angeles continues to look like one of the top teams to beat in the NFC, but also still has plenty to prove since they also happen to be one of three current teams within the division that are still undefeated.
