30. Cincinnati Bengals

After coming up just shy of knocking off the Seattle Seahawks on the road opening weekend, the Cincinnati Bengal seemed to have a favorable matchup at home in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers.

With Marvin Lewis finally out of the picture, the Bengals truly believed that Zac Taylor could find a way to help this offense reach a new level in 2019, even if they had to adjust the first few games without A.J. Green.

Unfortunately, Sunday’s 41-17 loss to San Francisco makes it seem like Cincinnati is still a work in progress, especially on the defensive side of the football.

Nothing against the 49ers as an offense since Jimmy Garoppolo displayed an impressive performance by throwing three touchdown passes, but the results by the Bengals’ defense one week after holding the Seahawks to 21 points was quite surprising.

Cincinnati obviously still has plenty of time to turn things around, but it is a little frustrating to watch this team sitting at 0-2 since playing catch up in the AFC is never an easy task.

Not to mention, even though there were concerns Joe Mixon entering Sunday’s game since the running back was dealing with an ankle injury, the Bengals rushing for 25 yards as a team was extremely disappointing.
