If the Los Angeles Rams end up expressing interest in Jalen Ramsey, here are three players they should consider trading to the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of a deal.
Until some sort of trade takes place, there’s going to be plenty of talk surrounding the Los Angeles Rams, and whether they should reach out to the Jacksonville Jaguars about Jalen Ramsey.
From a talent perspective, there’s no question that a team like Los Angeles would certainly benefit from adding a player in Ramsey to the defensive side of the football, but also the main question would be whether it would be worth the risk for the Rams.
Despite making a strong case for himself as being one of the top cornerbacks in the league over the years, Ramsey is also one of those players that is never afraid to speak his opinion, which can be both good or bad.
Even this past weekend when Ramsey was seen on the sidelines going at it with Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone, this is the perfect example of why most teams aren’t jumping the gun in trying to bring the star cornerback on board.
Not to mention, Ramsey is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2020 season, and will comet at hefty price ($13.7 million base salary in 2020), meaning there is no guarantee that he will even be around for the long run.
So far, reports have already indicated there is some interest in Ramsey, and acquiring the cornerback will clearly come at a high price.
But if the Rams were to somehow pull off that trade magic to convince the Jaguars to send Ramsey to Los Angeles, here are three players that seem like intriguing options to potentially send to Jacksonville as part of a deal.
