1. Cowboys

How great are the Dallas Cowboys feeling at the moment?

Well, not only are the Cowboys currently sitting pretty on top of the NFC East with a 3-0 record following another impressive win on Sunday over the Miami Dolphins, but the team received some help from the Detroit Lions as well.

Thanks to the Lions knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles in front of their own fans, Dallas currently holds a comfortable two-game lead over their rivals on top of the division.

Even if it’s only been three games, if the last two years are any indication of what to expect, this division race could end up going down to the wire come September as far as playoff positioning is concerned.

Last January, the Rams got the better end of the Cowboys during the Divisional Round of the playoffs, and if all goes well for both teams, they could very well meet again this season.

In a few months from now, Los Angeles will actually face Dallas in what is expected to be a tough Week 15 battle with possible playoff implications on the line.

And if this does turn out to be the case, chances are both the Rams and Cowboys could be battling each other for seeding.
