1. Matthews keeps sack streak alive

Sunday in general was already going to be a special night for Clay Matthews since Cleveland was honoring his dad during the game, but most importantly for the Rams, the veteran linebacker continues to be a great fit on defense.

After things failed to work out with the Green Bay Packers in the offseason, there were some critics over the decision by Los Angeles to bring Matthews on board, mainly because they didn’t think he was still capable of playing at a high level.

Based off his first three games with the Rams, the decision to sign Matthews has already worked out in one of the best ways possible.

And after recording a sack in each of his first two games with his new team, Matthews managed to sack Baker Mayfield twice on Sunday, bringing his total up to four in three games so far in Los Angeles.

Finding a way to keep this streak alive throughout the regular season will be difficult for obvious reasons, but at least Matthews has proven he was worth bringing on board, and will do everything in his power to have the sacks continue to pile up.
