2. Goff breaks out, tosses four touchdown passes

Jared Goff knew the pressure would be on heading into September not just because of how things played out last winter during the Super Bowl, but also due to the hefty contract recently signed at the beginning of the month.

Words can’t describe how frustrating it was to watch Goff and the Rams fail to even record a single touchdown in the Super Bowl against the Patriots since despite the issues with Gurley along with the absence of Cooper Kupp, there was still plenty to work with on offense.

As for how the 2019 season has been going so far for the former California star, well let’s just say it’s far from encouraging that Goff has more turnovers (six) than touchdowns (four) through the team’s first three games.

With a favorable matchup at home against a Buccaneers’ defense that just allowed Jones to record four total touchdowns in his regular-season debut, Goff should be extremely excited over this Week 4 battle.

Hopefully, Goff doesn’t waste any time helping the Rams put up early points on offense, and if this does turn out to be the case, Los Angeles should feel confident about the chances of improving to 4-0 heading into October.
