5 bold predictions for Rams during Week 5 meeting with Seahawks in 2019

5. Matthews extends sack streak
Back in the offseason, there were some Rams fans that were upset over the decision by the team to bring Matthews on board, mainly because they didn’t believe the veteran linebacker still had what it takes to play at a high level.
While there was a time in which Matthews was considered one of the top linebackers in the league, it was difficult to ignore how his production had been on the decline in recent years.
With that being said, Matthews has only been on Los Angeles for four games, but this already looks like one of the biggest steals from the offseason since he’s managed to record a sack in every game so far (five total).
Looking at the ability of Russell Wilson to scramble around on offense for Seahawks, Matthews is going to be in for quite the challenge when it comes to extending that streak in Week 5, but also it’s certainly possible.
The fact that Matthews has already topped his sack total from last year in just four games is exciting alone, and if the linebacker does manage to get to Wilson at least once, it will be great to see that streak extend to five games.
