Los Angeles Rams: 3 major concerns following 30-29 loss in Seattle Week 5
By Dan Parzych
There’s plenty to discuss from the Los Angeles Rams 30-29 loss to the Seattle Seahawks during Week 5.
Playing Thursday Night Football is never fun in general since teams are forced to play on a shorter week, and coming up on the losing end 30-29 to the Seattle Seahawks the way they did made things even more frustrating for the Los Angeles Rams.
Heading into the contest, the Rams knew they were going to be in for a tough one since the Seahawks are always considered a contender in the NFC, and have only missed the playoffs once during the Russell Wilson era.
But for the second week in a row, Los Angeles seems to have missed out on another great opportunity for a win, and as a result have now lost two games in a row to drop the team to third place in the NFC West standings.
Obviously, there’s no reason to hit the panic button just yet since it’s only the beginning of October, but also when seeing how the rest of the NFC is shaping up, the Rams will need every win they can get the rest of the way.
Otherwise, Los Angeles could end up watching the playoffs from home down the road, but since there’s no reason to be thinking with this kind of mindset just yet, the most important thing the Rams can do is focus on bouncing back strong in Week 6.
As for Thursday’s outcome, well any loss in the NFL seems to result in some sort of concerns, no matter how good the team may be.
For the Rams, there are plenty of concerns worth discussing after that tough loss to the Seahawks, and here are three that stand out the most.
