23. New York Giants

Unfortunately for the New York Giants, the defense just couldn’t seem to figure out a way to keep Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings in check on Sunday to suffer their first loss since Daniel Jones took over at quarterback.

With that being said, the Giants arguably deserve some benefit of the doubt since no one expected them to be only one game under .500 at this point in the season since they originally appeared to be heading towards a year of rebuilding.

Still, it’s difficult not to wonder what could have been for New York in this one since over the last couple of weeks, there’s been talk over whether this team could actually become a surprise playoff contender, even if it sounds like an absolute long shot.

The Giants made a questionable decision a few weeks ago with the way they handled the situation of Jones replacing Eli Manning, but at least the rookie quarterback continues to show a ton of potential.

As bad as it sounds, the first loss for Jones was going to eventually happen at some point, and when looking at the circumstances on offense with injuries, the Giants youngster didn’t really look all too bad on Sunday.
