19. Minnesota Vikings

Finally, Kirk Cousins played on an effective level for the Minnesota Vikings to help the team earn the impressive 28-10 over the New York Giants to help take a little pressure off the quarterback.

Rightfully so, Cousins has been taking plenty of heat over the last couple of weeks for his poor play resulting in the Vikings losing key games, with their Week 4 performance against the Chicago Bears standing out the most.

While it was great to see Cousins receive amazing support from Dalvin Cook (132 rushing yards) in the backfield, the best factor from Minnesota’s offense was easily Adam Thielen displaying his best performance of 2019 so far.

After the Vikings wideout was clearly frustrated with the poor play against the Bears, Thielen caught seven passes for 130 yards with two touchdowns to help put Minnesota in great position to secure the win.

With more games like this, Minnesota may actually have what it takes to be a playoff contender in the NFC, although they still have plenty to prove.

Just because Cousins and company looked solid on Sunday doesn’t mean they’re off the hook just yet since the next challenge moving forward will be showing the offense can play like this on a consistent basis.
