18. Houston Texans

Where has this explosive play been for the Houston Texans all season after seeing the results from Week 5?

On paper, the Texans are loaded with talent for Deshaun Watson to work with, but for some reason the team struggled for the most part to put up points over the last few weeks.

After watching Watson throw five touchdowns (three to Will Fuller) on Sunday to help defeat the Atlanta Falcons, the next task for Houston is seeing whether they can continue playing on this high level.

That’s always easier said than done since the case can be made that Atlanta’s weak defense resulted in Watson and Houston having such a strong game, but also this win should provide the Texans with an extra confidence boost heading into Week 6.

With the AFC South still wide open at this point, Houston is certainly making a strong case for being the top team to beat, although they still have a long way to go when seeing how close everything still is.

But also, Watson is clearly something special at quarterback, and if he can continue to play like Sunday’s win over the Falcons, the Texans will be difficult to beat the rest of the way.
