13. Dallas Cowboys

Despite an impressive 3-0 start to the season, plenty of football fans pointed out how the Dallas Cowboys didn’t exactly face the toughest competition early on, meaning it would be interesting to see how they would look against actual contenders.

Coming up short the way they did to the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 wasn’t considered that big of a deal since Sean Payton has one of the toughest teams in the NFC, and the Cowboys put up one heck of a fight, but Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers is a different story.

While it was great to see Dallas prevent Aaron Rodgers from throwing a single touchdown pass, the defense struggled to keep Aaron Jones in check after the Packers running back found the end zone four times while rushing for 107 yards on 19 carries.

If that wasn’t frustrating enough, it took the Cowboys until the second half of the game just to put up their first points, and Dak Prescott ended up tossing three interceptions, although not all were his fault.

All of a sudden, Dallas went from holding a comfortable two-game lead in the division two weeks ago to entering Week 6 with the same 3-2 record as the Philadelphia Eagles, making the NFC East even more interesting to follow.

Talent wise, the Cowboys are loaded on both sides of the football, but seeing the team drop two games in a row to two of the top contenders in the NFC seems a bit concerning.
