NFL Power Rankings, Week 6: Rams continue to drop after Seahawks loss
By Dan Parzych
6. Seattle Seahawks
Even though the Seahawks arguably caught a break thanks to a missed field goal by Zuerlein towards the end of the game, all that matters for Seattle is the team held on for the key win over the Rams to improve to 4-1.
Throughout his career, Wilson has always been considered one of the most quarterbacks in the league due to his scrambling ability, and Los Angeles was reminded once again on Thursday just how difficult he can be to defend.
Just about every time the Rams seemed like they were going to record a sack on Wilson, the Seahawks star would find a way to stay on his feet, and eventually find one of his teammates open down the field.
Seeing how Wilson finished the game with four touchdown passes, it’s safe to say he deserves to be part of the discussion for MVP, even if Patrick Mahomes seems like the easy favorite at the moment.
Now that Seattle has an extra advantage on the Rams by winning the first of two meetings, the next goal for the Seahawks will be catching up to the 49ers, who face a tough battle of their own against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night.
