NFL Power Rankings, Week 6: Rams continue to drop after Seahawks loss

2. New Orleans Saints
Back in Week 2 when Drew Brees went down with a thumb injury, panic mode started to sink for some New Orleans Saints since there’s a reason why the future Hall of Famer is a lock for Canton down the road when the time comes.
But also, the Saints always felt confident in Teddy Bridgewater being able to step up if ever needed, and the last three weeks are the perfect example of what the Louisville product is capable of.
Without question, Sunday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have been Bridgewater’s most impressive win to date after the New Orleans quarterback threw four touchdown passes, including two to Michael Thomas.
For weeks, football fans have been waiting for Thomas to display that explosive performance they’ve seen in previous years, and watching him torch the Buccaneers with 11 catches for 182 yards to go along with the two scores made plenty of fantasy football owners happy.
Clearly, the Saints are making a strong case not to only be considered the team to beat in the NFC South, but also the NFC in general.
If New Orleans continues to look this good until Brees is back at full strength, just imagine how dangerous the Saints are going to be once their star leader returns.
