Cooper Kupp has looked stronger than ever for the Los Angeles Rams through the first five games of 2019.

While most of the attention from the offseason in the injury department for the Los Angeles Rams was focused on Todd Gurley, Cooper Kupp wasn’t too far behind his teammate.

One can only imagine how different the end of last season could have been for the Rams if Kupp didn’t suffer a torn ACL last January against the Seattle Seahawks, but at least the wideout already looks stronger than ever in 2019.

Unlike his teammate in Gurley, every update surrounding Kupp’s recovery during the offseason seemed to be a positive one.

And while there’s always some small concern over how a player will look following an injury like this, Kupp actually looks stronger than he did before, and it’s showed in the passing game.

Since Week 2, Kupp has been on absolute fire for the Rams on offense with four-straight games of 100+ receiving yards, and even has four touchdown catches over the team’s last three contests.

On the season, Kupp already has 41 catches for 505 yards to go along with the four touchdowns, showing that the wideout is on his way to crushing previous career highs.

In fact, with the pace that Kupp is going, the Rams wideout could even set new career highs across the board (62 catches for 869 yards in 2017, six touchdowns in 2018) by the time the end of October rolls around.

Back in 2017 when Los Angeles decided to use a third-round pick on the former Eastern Washington star, the team clearly felt confident enough in Kupp potentially turning out to be a huge steal, but it’s safe to say no one expected these kinds of results.

Even more exciting, since Kupp is currently in the middle of his third NFL season, the wideout could only be scratching the surface of his true potential with the Rams, which should bring all sorts of excitement to the organization.

Based off Kupp’s numbers from the first five games, one can only imagine what the final results are going to look like when it’s all said and done for the 2019 season.

Plus, what’s even more exciting for Kupp is when looking at the way the Rams reward players with extensions, it seems like only a matter of time before he receives that hefty pay raise, which will only motivate him even more moving forward.
