2. Rams loaded with offensive weapons

As frustrating as it was to see how things played out in Washington this season for Gruden, football fans also need to keep in mind things could have been much different if the Redskins didn’t have to deal with so many injuries, especially with Alex Smith.

But if Gruden were looking for the perfect opportunity to be part of a high-powered offense loaded with talent to work with, the Rams could be the perfect fit.

What McVay has been able to accomplish in such a short period of time since coming to Los Angeles has truly been incredible to witness, and the best part is the offense has numerous key players under contract for years to come.

From recently signing Jared Goff to an extension back in September to other players such as Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks earning new deals last season, Los Angeles is built to compete at a high level on offense for years to come.

Keep in mind that just because things failed to work out with Gruden in Washington doesn’t mean he’s incapable of still finding success in a new role with a team like the Rams if the opportunity were to present itself.

So if McVay and the Rams eventually decide Gruden could be worth giving a shot, one can only imagine how much this would benefit the offense.
