3. Rams earned extra few days rest

Playing on Thursdays in general is usually never exciting for teams, mainly because no one enjoys playing on a shorter week.

But if the Rams were looking for a positive over having to previously face the Seahawks on Thursday during Week 5, all they have to do is look at the extra couple of days off received before Sunday’s meeting with the 49ers.

What’s even more exciting for Los Angeles to give them an extra advantage in the rest department is the fact that San Francisco recently played on Monday during their big win over the Cleveland Browns.

The extra rest may not seem like that big of a deal, but if the Rams can manage to use this to their advantage if the 49ers are feeling a little extra worn down, it could result in Los Angeles pulling off the win.

No one needs to explain to football fans how rivalries tend to bring out the best in teams, and take the intensity in games to new levels, which could very well be the case come Sunday afternoon.

Both Los Angeles and San Francisco realize the importance of wins within the division when looking at how the NFC West is shaping up, meaning the Rams will need to be on top of their game for this one.
