1. Rams hand 49ers first loss of 2019

Are the Rams on the verge of hitting desperation mode with the team sitting in third place in the NFC West behind the 49ers and Seahawks?

While there’s still plenty of football remaining in the 2016 season since it’s only Week 6, one can only imagine the challenge Los Angeles will be facing if the team drops to 3-3 following a third loss in a row to San Francisco.

The Rams were already facing heavy pressure entering the new season after coming up short the way they did in Super Bowl 53 against the New England Patriots, but a third loss this early in the season would bring a new level of pressure to the table.

Since Los Angeles is already dealing with numerous injuries, whether it happens to be injuries or struggles on the offensive line, the last thing the Rams can afford is to be playing catch up over the next few months just to earn a playoff spot in the NFC.

Nothing against the 49ers since this team has obviously made a strong case to be considered a top contender in the NFC, but Kyle Shanahan‘s squad could be the unfortunate victims of facing a desperate Rams squad.
