2. Falcons struggling on defense

If Kyler Murray found a way to throw for 340 yards to go along with three touchdown passes against the Falcons’ defense in Week 6, why shouldn’t Goff be able to post similar numbers on Sunday, if not better?

A few years ago, Atlanta’s defense appeared to be a young group of talent on the rise, but this has been far from the case throughout the 2019 season.

With the Falcons only having one win to their name entering Week 7, it’s safe to assume that Atlanta would have a few more wins to their name is the defense were playing better.

Even if some will make the case that Arizona’s offensive line is doing a much better job at protecting Murray compared to Goff’s situation, the Rams should still be able to find a way to pick the defense of the Falcons apart.

In a way, this seems like the perfect scenario for Los Angeles to earn that first win since Week 3 since Atlanta has been struggling just as much over the last month, if not worse.

Playing in a hostile environment is never easy, and Falcons fans will be looking to give their team an advantage in this one, but hopefully Goff can still figure out a way to find plenty of success on offense to help the Rams.
