23. Denver Broncos (20)

Rough doesn’t even begin to describe how Thursday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs turned out to be for the Denver Broncos, as this team came up short for the first time in three games.

After putting together an impressive two-game winning streak on top of the fact that Kansas City entered Week 7 suffering two losses in a row, Denver seemed like they would have a fighting chance in this one.

Instead, the Broncos displayed one of their most embarrassing performances of the 2019 season by only scoring six points, and allowing the Chiefs’ defense to have an absolute field day on Joe Flacco.

Protecting the former Super Bowl MVP has been difficult at times for Denver over the last two months, but watching Flacco get sacked eight times on Thursday shows how rough of a game this really was for the veteran quarterback under center.

Nothing against Kansas City since their defense deserves plenty of credit for putting together one of their best performances of the year, but this was beyond embarrassing for Denver as an offense.

If the Broncos continue to struggle this much on offense, Flacco may not even last for the remainder of the season, especially if all the hits from Week 7 is a sign.
