21. Tennessee Titans (26)

For the most part, the Tennessee Titans have been one of the most difficult teams to figure out in 2019 since they started off the year looking like serious Super Bowl contenders, only to appear to be contenders ever since.

The fact that Mike Vrabel decided to make the switch this week to Ryan Tannehill at quarterback over Marcus Mariota shows how desperate the Titans were for some sort of spark on offense, although this seemed to work out pretty well for Tennessee.

Back in the offseason, the Titans made the decision to bring Tannehill on board from the Miami Dolphins to provide some insurance at quarterback since Mariota was struggling to stay healthy.

And after watching Tannehill step up the way he did to help Tennessee take down the Los Angeles Chargers, it looks like the decision is paying off for the Titans, although one game doesn’t necessarily mean this success will continue.

Still, after watching Tannehill complete 23 of 29 passes for 312 yards to go along with two touchdowns against a tough defense in the Chargers, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out since Mariota is currently in the middle of his rookie contract.

If Tannehill continues to play at a high level, Mariota may end up looking for work elsewhere once the offseason arrives.
