17. Chicago Bears (14)

Chicago Bears fans had a strong feeling that Mitch Trubisky may need some time to return to his normal ways on offense after returning from an injury, but no one expected things to be bad as they were in Week 7 during the loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Don’t be fooled by the final 36-25 score since the Bears scored 15 points in garbage time during the final few minutes of regulation, basically showing just how bad of a loss this really was for Chicago.

Despite taking a huge step in the right direction last year, it appears the frustration surrounding Trubisky is beginning to heat up in Chicago, and it doesn’t help reminding fans how the Bears originally passed on both Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson to land him.

After winning the NFC North title last season before losing right away in the playoffs to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Bears were supposed to take another big step in 2019, but this has been far from the case so far.

Sunday’s embarrassing loss at home to the Saints made it clear the Bears are still a work in progress, and depending on how things play out over the next few months, if the struggles continue for Trubisky, Chicago may need to simply cut their losses.
