15. Detroit Lions (11)
For a team coming off a frustrating loss on the road to the Green Bay Packers after some questionable calls from officials, it’s difficult not to feel bad for the Detroit Lions even more after coming up short against the Minnesota Vikings.
With their rivals coming to town, the Lions were looking to take advantage of playing in front of their own fans in this one.
Instead, the offense of the Vikings turned out to be too much for the Lions to handle, and as a result of their third loss in a row, Detroit found a way to dig a deeper hole in the NFC North standings.
When taking into consideration how the Lions would have technically been in first place last week if they had held on for the win over the Packers, words can’t even describe how frustrating the month of October has been for Matt Patricia’s squad.
Not even a career day by Marvin Jones Jr. after the wideout found the end zone four times was good enough for the Lions on Sunday, and if they manage to come up short again in Week 8 when taking on the New York Giants, this team could be in trouble.
