3. New Orleans Saints (3)

Each week, the New Orleans Saints seem to find new ways to impress with Teddy Bridgewater under center, and there’s a good chance Sunday’s win on the road over the Chicago Bears was the team’s most impressive since losing Drew Brees to a thumb injury.

Back in Week 2 when Brees was hurt during a loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the Saints seemed like they would be a team that would barely get by without the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Turns out, New Orleans is still capable of being a serious contender in the NFC without their star quarterback under center, and Sunday’s 36-25 win over Chicago made that case.

What made this win even more impressive for the Saints is they also managed to do so without their star running back in Alvin Kamara, showing just how dangerous of a football team New Orleans really is.

Even though Brees seems on pace to return next week, with the way Bridgewater is playing on top of their next two games being against the Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons, maybe the Saints should hold off a little longer.

At the end of the day, it’s always better to be safe than sorry, and some extra rest for Brees could benefit the Saints in the long run.
