29. Washington Redskins (29)

As frustrating as it was to watch the Washington Redskins come up short during their 9-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the argument can be made this team would have put up more of a fight if the weather conditions weren’t so sloppy to deal with.

Rightfully so, the 49ers were considered heavy favorites to defeat the Redskins since there’s a reason why they’re the remaining undefeated team in the NFC, but it’s still difficult not to wonder what could have been for Washington.

One would assume that a team like the Redskins holding the 49ers to scoring just nine points would have resulted in a win for Washington, but unfortunately the offense failed to put up a single point.

With the kind of conditions this game was played in, a quarterback such as Case Keenum (9 of 12 for 77 yards) can only do so much on his own under center since the offense was forced to focus on the ground game more in this one.

Unfortunately, the Redskins will need to recover quick with a Thursday meeting with a familiar face in Kirk Cousins, which should be entertaining when looking at the history between Washington and their former quarterback.
