28. New York Giants (28)

Between having a favorable matchup at home against the Arizona Cardinals on top of Saquon Barkley returning sooner than expected, the New York Giants were hoping to see a spark in Week 7 to put them in better position to earn that third win of the season.

Despite the scorecard showing the Giants only lost by six points, the argument can be made the Cardinals were simply too much to handle, and New York was only close for a few key plays going their way in the second quarter.

As exciting as it was to see the Giants get their star weapon on offense back after Barkley finished with 72 rushing yards with a score on 18 carries, this is clearly a team with numerous areas in need of improvement, especially at quarterback with Daniel Jones.

While the former Duke star will continue to receive the benefit of the doubt for his rookie campaign being a learning experience after being thrown into action earlier than expected back in Week 3, it’s tough to watch Jones struggle sometimes since New York knows his potential.

Winning two games to start his NFL career made it seem like Jones would make the Giants surprise contenders in the NFC, but the three turnovers on Sunday by the rookie quarterback shows this team is still a work in progress.
