27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (27)

Remember how a weeks ago, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers appeared to be on their way to emerging as a potential sleeper in the NFC thanks to an impressive road win over the Los Angeles Rams?

Since that epic Week 4 win, it’s all been downhill for the Buccaneers after suffering two tough losses in a row, with the latest coming in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers during a trip to London.

Watching Jameis Winston finish that contest with five interceptions makes it clear that Tampa Bay has problems at the quarterback position, and the more they continue to give the former No. 1 pick a chance to prove himself, the more difficult it’s going to be to win games.

Talent wise, it’s difficult to defend Winston since the offense is loaded with players such as Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to work with, meaning the Buccaneers quarterback should have it much easier than most quarterbacks.

With a tough road matchup scheduled in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay could be heading for another tough loss since Mike Vrabel’s team is desperate for wins as well before November arrives.

Winston may only have a few more opportunities to prove himself worthy of being the starter before the Buccaneers finally decide he’s far from the right answer, so it will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
