3. Austin Schlottmann

Last season, Austin Schlottmann signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent, and would end up spending his rookie campaign on the practice squad.

This season, however, Schlottmann made a strong enough impact in training camp and preseason to earn one of the spots on the roster for the Broncos since his ability to play multiple positions stood out in a big way.

Even though Schlottmann has yet to earn a single start in his NFL career, the lineman has appeared in every game so far for Denver, although the offensive line as a whole hasn’t exactly been the most reliable group in the world.

Since Schlottmann technically isn’t a starter, this seems like one of those players the Broncos could afford to move on from if they were to consider a trade, and load up on future draft picks.

When looking at the current situation for the Rams with the offensive line, there’s no question this is a unit that could certainly benefit from adding some depth.

Schlottmann may not be the most exciting player in the world, but with his younger age and ability to play multiple position, this at least deserves consideration from Los Angeles if Denver were to allow it to happen.
