If all goes well for the Los Angeles Rams in London, Aaron Donald should have a field day against Andy Dalton in Week 8.

No one needs to explain just how much of a nightmare Aaron Donald can be for the Los Angeles Rams on defense, and with the team traveling to London to take on the Cincinnati Bengals, Andy Dalton could be in serious trouble.

There’s a reason why Donald is looking to take home Defensive Player of the Year honors for a third year in a row during the 2019 season, as his presence always gives the Rams a major advantage on the defensive side of the football.

Even last season when Donald missed all of training camp and preseason due to a holdout, the Pittsburgh product still found a way to set a career high of 20.5 sacks in 2019, showing once again just how special of a player he truly is.

With three sacks over the previous two games, one can only imagine the excitement surrounding Donald and the rest of the Rams’ defense for a weekend meeting with the winless Bengals since this could easily turn out to be a field day for the Los Angeles star.

While Cincinnati was expected to go through a year of rebuilding under Zac Taylor, no one ever expected things to be this bad since the Bengals should arguably have at least one or two wins by now.

And with the Rams feeling extra motivated to pull off another strong win after blowing out the Atlanta Falcons last weekend, Dalton could find himself in for a long game if all goes according to plan for Donald and the rest of the Los Angeles defense.

Through seven games, Dalton only trails Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston when it comes to seeing the most sacks (24), and could very well end up being the leader after Week 8 if Donald has anything to say about it.

Upsets tend to happen all the time in the NFL, and while the Rams obviously can’t overlook at matchup like this, a meeting with the Bengals before the bye week almost works out too perfect for Los Angeles.

Donald only having four sacks in seven games may seem like a disappointment to some fans, but also keep in mind all of the extra attention he receives most of the time to benefit his teammates, such as Dante Fowler Jr. (three sacks) last weekend against the Falcons.

Assuming all goes well for the Rams in this one, Donald should have no trouble applying constant pressure to Dalton throughout the game while adding a few sacks to his season total in the process.
