2. Goff continues to heat up

Rightfully so, Jared Goff has taken plenty of heat this season for his poor play at times on offense for the Rams, especially that horrendous outing a few weeks back against the San Francisco 49ers.

But over the last two weeks, Goff has found a way to elevate his game to a new level to help Los Angeles enter the bye week on a hot note with two wins in a row instead of falling below .500 on the year.

Sure, the argument can be made that Goff didn’t exactly face the toughest competition going against the Falcons and Bengals, but also maybe this is just what the former No. 1 pick needed to help get back on track.

Throwing for 372 yards to go along with two touchdowns was impressive against Cincinnati’s defense, but the most important factor of all is how Goff failed to record a single turnover since this has been an unfortunate issue at times over the last two months.

Once the Rams return from the bye, all eyes will be on Goff to see if he continues to play on this high of a level against the Pittsburgh Steelers since this road battle will be far from easy for Los Angeles.
