Here are five potential landing spots for Aqib Talib if the Los Angeles Rams are open to trading the veteran cornerback before Tuesday’s deadline.

Even though the Los Angeles Rams already made a big move a few weeks ago by acquiring Jalen Ramsey from the Jacksonville Jaguars, could the team end up pulling off another deal involving Aqib Talib?

Prior to Sunday’s game in London against the Cincinnati Bengals, it was reported that Los Angeles was open to trading Talib in order to help clear up salary space for a potential new deal for Ramsey.

In fact, the report also claimed that Talib was in position to be traded last week as well, but apparently turned down the opportunity.

With that being said, just because Talib already turned an offer down doesn’t necessarily mean something still couldn’t happen on Tuesday, as plenty of strong contenders could still use his service once he’s healthy enough to return from IR with a rib injury.

Some Rams fans are questioning why the team would want to move on from Talib since the chance for the veteran to team up alongside Ramsey seems like trouble for opponents, but also, as mentioned above, the main focus seems to be on a new potential deal for Ramsey.

Not to mention, with Talib currently in the final year of his contract, any chance of Los Angeles pulling off a deal now would mean they could actually get something in return compared to the offseason where he could just walk in free agency.

This time of year tends to bring out all sorts of unexpected trades, and even though the chances of Talib being dealt looks like a long shot at the moment, here are five contenders worth keeping an eye on before the deadline just in case.
