4. Jaguars

Before some football fans freak out over the thought of the Jaguars being part of the contending category, keep in mind that crazier things have taken place in the NFL.

A few weeks ago when Jacksonville decided to send Ramsey to the Rams, there were some fans who were rightfully upset with the decision since they viewed this as the Jaguars throwing in the towel on the 2019 season.

Since joining the NFL in 2016, Ramsey has proven to be one of a kind talent at cornerback, and replacing the former first-round pick on defense is arguably impossible, no matter how hard Jacksonville wants to try.

The chances of the Jaguars wanting to bring Talib on board just a few weeks after completing the trade with Ramsey doesn’t seem to make much sense, but also the circumstances are different in Jacksonville now.

Thanks to Gardner Minshew helping the Jaguars win two games in a row to get back to .500 on the season, plenty can happen for this team over the final two months when it comes to the AFC playoff race.

In other words, Jacksonville may seem like a long shot to earn a trip to the playoffs, but they shouldn’t be ruled out just yet.
