3. Houston Texans

One can only imagine how the Houston Texans are feeling after seeing J.J. Watt go down with a season-ending injury during Sunday’s win over the Oakland Raiders since his presence on defense always makes a huge difference.

Unfortunately, staying healthy as been a problem for Watt over the years, and while this recent news is obviously devastating, it’s no reason to rule the Texans out of the AFC playoff race since there’s still plenty of talent to work with.

With that being said, when looking at how great the Indianapolis Colts are playing at the moment, Houston could benefit from making a key move or two before the deadline on Tuesday to put the team in better position to compete.

Talib certainly isn’t going to fix all of the current problems the Texans are dealing with on the defensive side of the football, and waiting for the veteran to get healthy may not be their preference, but this could be key down the road.

Experience wise, Talib knows exactly what it takes to make a run at the Super Bowl, and the veteran leadership could also work wonders for Houston on defense as well to help the team punch their ticket to the postseason when the time comes.
