The Los Angeles Rams will have their hands full returning from the bye week with a difficult November schedule.

After finishing the month of October on a strong note by earning two wins in a row over the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals, the bye week seemed to come at the perfect time for the Los Angeles Rams to earn some much needed rest.

With a 5-3 record, the defending NFC champions clearly have plenty of work to do during the final two months of the regular season, especially when taking into consideration the Rams currently trail both the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers in the division standings.

In fact, when taking a closer look at the rest of November once Los Angeles returns from the bye week, this will be another big test to see whether this team has what it takes to compete for one of the playoff spots in the NFC.

Right away in Week 10, the Rams will face a tough battle on the road against a Pittsburgh Steelers team in need of every win possible as well during these final two months since Mike Tomlin‘s squad didn’t exactly get off to the best of starts.

From there, Los Angeles will return home for two games against one of the top contenders the AFC has to offer in the Baltimore Ravens before ending the month with a battle against a team most likely competing for a Wild Card spot in the Chicago Bears.

As impressive as it was to see the Rams end last month on a high note, football fans in general didn’t hold back pointing out the two wins came against teams with a combined one win, meaning they arguably shouldn’t feel all that impressed.

Looking back at previous losses to the Seahawks and 49ers, it’s easy to understand why there’s some concern over whether this Rams team is in fact built to compete to make another run at the Super Bowl, or they’ll end up watching the playoffs from home.

Nothing is set in stone at the moment, and plenty can happen from now until the end of December, but the best approach for Los Angeles seems to be focusing on one game at a time, starting with that meeting in Pittsburgh.

The month of November will be far from easy for the Rams schedule wise, but also a perfect opportunity for the team to show they can in fact compete with the best of teams.
