12. Philadelphia Eagles (10)

First off, as great as it was to see the Philadelphia Eagles earn a second win in a row, Doug Pederson’s squad should also consider themselves lucky when seeing how close the Chicago Bears came to pulling off a potential comeback.

When looking at all of the injuries the Eagles have been dealing with on both sides of the football, Sunday’s meeting with the Bears seemed like the ultimate trap game to dig Philadelphia a deeper hole in the NFC East standings.

As great as it was to see Zach Ertz display a big game after catching nine passes for 103 yards to go along with a touchdown, the one concern still there on offense for Philadelphia is DeSean Jackson, who saw a little action before sitting for the rest of the game.

After all of the excitement surrounding Jackson’s return to provide the Eagles with another deep option to use in the passing game, Philadelphia seems like they jumped the gun on allowing him to return for Week 9.

Instead, the Eagles should have taken advantage of being on the bye week after Sunday, and allowed Jackson extra time to get healthy since no one knows what to really expect now with the veteran wideout.
